Drafts versus published content

WordPress enables editors to change the published state of content.

This includes the following options:

  • Published: Content accessible to the public
  • Password protected: Content only accessible to someone with a password (does not need to be an editor)
  • Draft: Content only accessible to other VCUarts website editors
  • Publish in the future: Content will become publicly available at a specified date and time
  • Public preview: A temporary link to content in draft status than can be accessed by anyone with the link. The link will expire after 48 hours.
