Nothing to worry about. The "Update branch" button is there to make sure that your branch is up to date with the upstream that you're trying to make changes to. This helps you avoid merge conflicts when editing files. Just don't press it unless you need to as it sends an unnecessary email to everyone involved in the pull request. For TLDR, only the final form of the pull request matters as we will squash and merge every pull request. |
