I'm not entirely sure npm is behaving correctly, so I reported this issue here: npm/npm#9768 |

Given that this is breaking every single PR, perhaps best to merge this and try to get npm's attention on npm/npm#9768 later? |

npm@3 fails because it apparently tries to name the default package in the test directory ".sinopia_test_env", which is illegal. This creates a
package.jsonwith a valid name.
