Method

Leave and rejoin the game, let the temporary bot play for you.
This is an old method but has remained unpatched for like the entire existence of Brawlhalla.
except... in recent patches, Brawlhalla does not disconnect both bots so now you can do this with a single client.

Recommended Lobby Settings

GAME RULE

• game mode: crew battle
• stocks: 99
• damage: 50%
• gadgets: off
• mapset: tournament 1v1
• max players: 2
• match time: 25 minutes
  • this only exists in crew battle, gives about ~1000 exp per match

LOBBY

• map: random
  • this doesnt matter that much, starts the match a little bit faster than selecting
  • some users reported that not having map selection to random breaks the script
• privacy (optional): friends / clanmate off
• handicaps (optional): on
  • see below for settings

PARTY

• bot difficulty: medium (does not really matter)
• handicap settings:
  • if using handicaps, set dmg done / dmg taken at 50% for both you and the bot
  • additionally, set bot lives to 89 or something to avoid losing matches, if you care about that

Turning yourself into a Bot

When the match starts after the loading screen, leave then rejoin the game.
If you input any key after rejoining, it will override the player bot and youd have to leave and rejoin again.
Now you can leave the game running as is and the bots would be fighting for you.
