XYZ Configuration

XYZ is highly aiming on being configurable as possible. This is because Microservice is not a solid term itself, it's just attitude towards development and deployment. Hence, lots of details are going to be application dependent. XYZ will try not to force any of these application dependent requirements, instead, it will try to provide easy to use plugins/APIs for developers to use in order to configure these variant configurations. In a bigger picture, XYZ can be described as a minimal common infrastructure, which has many ports and slots that need to filled by the developer (of course, there will be default behaviors for all of these). This somehow looks like a Swiss cheese:
