Opening (Reading) a remote file changes the file time to current time. Not tested due to missing development environment.

Thanks for taking a stab at a patch for the bug you filed! I'll take a look at this in due time. At first glance, I don't think it'll work (b/c you're launching the program before the download finishes...) but it's a start. |
