Review Summary

Changes are needed to meet all the task requirements. Your use of the .count() method is a great approach! However, the implementation isn't fully case-insensitive because the letter parameter is not converted to lowercase. This will cause incorrect results when an uppercase letter is passed, for example, count_occurrences("Hello", "H") would return 0. To fix this, simply convert letter to lowercase as well. Additionally, the task requires a docstring for the function that describes its purpose, parameters, and return value. Please add this in to complete the solution.

The task requires the function to have a docstring that describes its purpose, parameters, and return value. Please add the docstring as shown in the problem description.

This implementation is not fully case-insensitive. While phrase is converted to lowercase, letter is not. This will lead to incorrect counts if letter is uppercase. For example, count_occurrences("test", "T") would incorrectly return 0. To fix this, you should also convert the letter to lowercase before using it in the count method.

Review Summary

Excellent work on making the function fully case-insensitive! The logic is now correct and handles all cases as expected. However, changes are needed because a key requirement from the task description is missing. Please add the docstring to the count_occurrences function. The docstring should describe the function's purpose, its parameters (phrase and letter), and its return value. Once you add that, this will be ready for approval.

This is a great improvement, and the logic is now correct! The last step is to add the docstring for this function, as specified in the task description. Docstrings are essential for making code understandable.
