Putting this down for the moment -- the tests keep timing out waiting for backdoor.service and I haven't been successful in a) troubleshooting that or b) figuring out whether that's expected for arm for some reason. I will come back to this once I've got time to get an ARM VM set up for testing this manually.

NixOS + Asahi (aarch64 linux on macbook m2 pro) customer here. Is there any chance this can be revived?

Hi @TheButlah! I haven't been able to make much progress with sorting out the test timeouts. I'll see if I can figure out the testing, but in the meantime -- I've gotten this branch updated with the latest version of the agent and osqueryd, and if you'd like to, I believe you should be able to point directly to this branch in your flake file.
