First of all, thank you for using essh for so many years! I'm really glad to hear that it has been useful for you. I also appreciate the effort you've put into creating this PR and the great improvements you've made. That being said, I'm sorry, but since essh is no longer actively maintained, I won’t be able to review or merge this PR. I strongly encourage you to fork the project and continue maintaining it as your own. Thank you again for your contribution. |

Hi!,
firstly I want to say thank you for your fantastic project essh, I am using your tool in my company and in my personal projects since the last 3 years or more (I don't remember exactly), before of this, I remember to use Sup, Ansible, and others... but essh allows me and my company to have a dozens of useful scripts in a hand for controlling thousand of remote machines (also local) and dinamic hosts from aws, gcloud, etc...
The main problem was no version for new arm64 processors in Mac or Linux, and the build version was broken in Golang, so I decided to update your code.
In the process I rediscovered the power of
driversunderstand it and getting more flexibility to use other script language programming in tasks and embedding the support for running lua defined scripts into essh replacing the standard lua interpreterPlease feel free to integrate my features in your original code.
I want to follow improve the code, my next "experimental" feature will be to integrate ssh features into essh for systems without any ssh client installed (normally Windows), but useful in any installation. No code of this feature by now, in this Pull Request.
