  1. Clone the repository:

    cd docker-lamp
  2. Copy the environment file:

    cp .env.example .env
  3. Start the containers:

    docker-compose up -d
  4. Access the services:

Edit the .env file to configure:

MYSQL_ROOT_PASSWORD=your_root_password
MYSQL_DATABASE=your_database
MYSQL_USER=your_user
MYSQL_PASSWORD=your_password

Service Versions

  • MySQL: Latest
  • Apache: 2.4
  • PHPMyAdmin: Latest

Adding PHP Extensions

  1. Edit the Dockerfile:

    RUN docker-php-ext-install pdo pdo_mysql
  2. Rebuild the containers:

    docker-compose build
    docker-compose up -d

Database Management

  • Access PHPMyAdmin at http://localhost:8080
  • Default credentials:
    • Server: db
    • Username: root
    • Password: (from .env file)
