People should just use the kicad jlcpcb generator tbh. And for the bom you shouldn't make it manually. In the schematic editor you can edit symbol fields and export the bom. And for the cpl the order shouldn't matter i remember, just export the placement file from the kicad's pcb editor

i only made this guide because i got errors with the cpl from kicad
also the bom isnt made manually, it just has its headings changed

You should just tell everyone to use the kicad jlcpcb generator though :pf:

It's way easier using that and the chances of making a faulty pcb gets lower

also doesn't jlc have a guide for this specifically?

i just feel that the things in this guide are quite easily found at JLC's official guide, and apply to most other PCB Fabricators too
