So that the next package release will use
https://github.com/galaxyproject/gravity/releases/tag/v1.1.0. I want to use this in planemo.

How to test the changes?

I want to use this in planemo.

Would gravity 1.0.8 be enough for planemo? See #20523 by @natefoo .
Or is galaxyproject/gravity#126 that you are interested in?

Yes, I want the subprocess process handling, that's a lot easier to deal with in planemo.
