Title: Add sync progress logging for streams and slices

Summary

• log stream execution progress with “current/total” counters so operators can track how many configured streams
  have completed
• collect stream slices to compute their total count and log slice start/completion with ordinal progress for
  clearer visibility into long-running slices
• retain existing state checkpointing and failure handling while augmenting their log messages with progress
  context

Testing

• No automated tests were run (logging-only change).
