Generally, we're lazy and use the premade solution ().

• For 0.5 L

  • 54.0 g Tris-base
  • 27.5 g Boric Acid
  • 4.15 g EDTA (disodium salt)
  • 400 mL dH2)

• For 1 L

  • 108.0 g Tris-base
  • 55.0 g Boric Acid
  • 8.3 g EDTA (disodium salt)
  • 800 mL dH2O

Mix together on stirring plate. May need to add a bit of heat to get into solution. After thoroughly mixed, bring up to correct volume w/ addition dH2O. Always bring down to 1X prior to use.
