🐛 Troubleshooting

Common Issues

Port already in use

# Kill process on port 3000
lsof -ti:3000 | xargs kill -9

# Or use different port
PORT=3001 npm run dev

Database connection failed

# Check MySQL service
sudo systemctl status mysql

# Verify credentials in .env
cat .env | grep DB_

Permission denied

# Fix npm permissions
sudo chown -R $(whoami) ~/.npm

# Or use different install location
npm config set prefix '~/.local'
