Upon opening up StudyGroup, you will see the Sign In page. If you already have a StudyGroup account, enter your login credentials to log in.

If you do not have a StudyGroup account, click on the "Sign Up" tab to sign up for an account.

Enter in your desired credentials and hit register.

After a successful registration, you should receive a confirmation email.
After a successful login, you will be taken to the Join Group tab. If you already know the GroupID of an existing group, enter that GroupID here and click Join.
If you would like to create a new group, simply click the Create Group tab in the top left corner.
You can always toggle between the two by selecting the tab you would like to see.
Once you are connected to a group, you will see lots of different labels and interactive areas. At the top, to the right of the Join Group and Create Group tabs, you will see the name of the current group that you are in. Along the bottom, there is a text input screen so that you can chat with others in the group. You can select the enter key on your laptop or click the chat button. Along the left hand side is the chat area where you can see chat messages from yourself and others in the group. The white area on the right hand side is our interactive whiteboard. Along the top of the whiteboard, you can change the pixel size and color of your drawing tool. Drawing on the whiteboard is as simple as clicking your mouse and dragging it around. All drawings on the whiteboard will be seen by everybody in the group, and anybody can add to the whiteboard. Clicking on "save whiteboard" along the top of the whiteboard will save the whiteboard so that if you leave the group and rejoin, the whiteboard will update automatically. To the right of the whiteboard, you will see the current list of users that are in the group. At the top right corner of the screen, you have the option to leave the group, which will return you to the Join Group screen. Near the top right corner of the whiteboard there is a drop down menu that lets you toggle between the whiteboard area and the flash card area.
After toggling the whiteboard to flashcards mode, you will see this blank area.
After selecting Add Card in the top left corner, you will see a new flash card initialized with a blank front.
Enter in the text that you would like to save on the front side of the flash card and select Set Front.
You will then see the blank back side of the flash card. Again, enter the text that you would like to save on the back side of the flash card and select "Set Back".
Once a flashcard is created, you will see a view similar to the one below. A blue background represents the front, and a green background represents the back. The index of the card is located at the center of the bottom of the card. The bottom left has an edit button which will allow you to edit the card. The bottom right has a flip button which will toggle the front and back side views. There is an add card at the top left corner that allows you to add another card to the current list of flashcards. The top right corner has the same drop down menu to toggle between flashcards and whiteboard.
You can also use the Prev and Next buttons to cycle through the current list of flashcards. They are located at the bottom of the flashcards. In the top left corner, there is also a button called quiz, which will randomize the flashcards in the current list. This is a toggle, so you can toggle between a random order and an order of increasing index.
Thank you for using StudyGroup. This is our first working version and we have many updates planned!
