@gandhiano In the transition-valleys branch I want to work on bringing the transition valley umap into transformap. for this each layer is backed up.

from here one can iterate on the features and upload them individually to transformap in the future.
maybe we want to create an adaptor for TransforMap/transformapetl which automises this process by just providing a map's url, which is then sliced down into its number and further processed.

See umap-project/umap#78 for an explanation about what is happening here.

@species any ideas for heuristics to check for already existing points before uploading anew? In the etl this is the transform and store part, which probably includes the case of merging existing entities.

Extending the ETL to have an adaptor that would read an umap URL and import its' data would be an amazing feature.
