This Chrome extension adds a floating teleprompter overlay that works on any website, including Google Meet and other browser-based video conferencing tools.

- Open Chrome and navigate to
chrome://extensions/
- Enable "Developer mode" using the toggle in the top-right corner
- Click "Load unpacked" and select the extension folder
- The extension icon will appear in your Chrome toolbar
- Click the extension icon to open the popup menu
- Toggle "Show Overlay" to display the teleprompter on your current webpage
- Enter your script text in the text area and click "Save Script"
- Use the controls in the overlay or keyboard shortcuts to adjust settings
- Press Alt+T at any time to show/hide the teleprompter
- Alt+T: Toggle teleprompter visibility
- Space: Play/pause scrolling
- Escape: Stop and reset scroll position
- Up/Down Arrows: Increase/decrease scroll speed
- +/-: Increase/decrease font size
- M: Toggle mirror mode
- H: Hide teleprompter
