Getting Started

UCVM was developed as an open-source scientific software to support seismic simulations on high-performance computing systems, so it is designed to compile and run on Linux-based computers. We are aware that the UCVM installation process can be a significant barrier to use by the research community. To simplify access to UCVM, we've developed alternative access methods, even ones without requiring installing the software on your own Linux computer.
