Another report of this, mistakenly placed: sous-chefs/ruby_rbenv#86 The core chef rubygems provider implements this without an extra attribute. I think that implementation should be copied instead of this solution. |

I've added an option to allow a user to specify that you're installing the gem via a local gemfile. Please let me know if you would like me to make any changes. Maybe the local file option should allow the user to specify the location of the local gemfile instead of just a boolean.
