🚀 Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • Android 9 (Pie) or higher.

Installation

  1. Download the APK: Go to the Releases page and download the latest file.
  2. Enable Installation from Unknown Sources: You may need to enable this in your Android settings to install the APK.
  3. Install the APK: Open the downloaded file and follow the prompts to install.

Usage

  1. Open Audio Switcher: Launch the app from your app drawer.
  2. Grant Permissions: Before selecting the service mode, you must click the “Enable music control” button and give the application accessibility permission.
  3. Configure: Select which mode you want to use through in the app's settings.
  4. All Set! You can now long-press your volume up or down button to switch music playback. Note: The app requires Accessibility Service permission to detect long-presses of the volume buttons even when the screen is off or you are in another app. Audio Switcher does not collect any personal data, keystrokes, or passwords. This permission is used exclusively for its core functionality.

Issues

If you run into any issues while using AudioSwitcher, you can use the log button in the right corner of the control panel. Start logging and make a note of the problem you are experiencing, then send it to me personally or to Open Issue. I'll do my best to help!
