About The Pull Request

There is no more anomaly cap. You can keep making anomaly cores.
(This affects getting anomaly cores from both refining them, and from neutralizing naturally occurring anomalies.)

Why It's Good For The Game

I did this mostly for #8502, so that the anomaly cap doesn't prevent you from making the station objective.
The cap rarely comes into practice anyways, I doubt this will lead to people spamming anomaly stuff.

Anomaly items are only balanced by their limited nature. If you do this change pretty much everyone will have blue space BOH like back when they were printable.

By that logic you should see people going to ordnance every round to make all 8 BOHs possible to make, but that doesn't happen.
Having to build a maxcap is enough of a deterrent to stop tiders from entering science to make a BOH.

Anomaly items are more balanced by you having to do ordnance or you getting lucky with an event.

So what anomaly cores do you get from all those anomalies that were added without subtypes?

I did not think of that.
In testing, they turn into a typeless anomaly core that I presume would be confusing for players.

I guess I should add back inert cores for those anomalies.

If this leads to too many anomaly cores being made, you could make the "max radius" larger, so you'll need a more experienced scientist to produce them.

Because not all anomalies have cores apparently.

Ok but this still doesnt change the fact that anomaly items are designed to be powerful because they only exist by the fact that there is a limited amount.
If you claim that people arent hitting the cap, then why are you removing it in the first place?

Removing the cap entirely just so that you can put anomaly cores as a requirement in the BSA (Something that we want the station to build for their goal) is just not really logical to me.
