How to contribute your ideas in terms of mindmaps.

In our community, we support sharing communication ideas using mindmaps. We recommend you to use the open-source software Freeplane and the customized version Docear to create your mindmaps. Docear provides LaTex math formulas and BibTex references supports which are handy for academic usage. If you want to share your mindmap in our community webpage, you should do the following:

  • Join the open-source community as a GitHub developer and ICIQ organization member.
  • Start a GitHub open-source project or use the current RoadmapProject repository, and pull your mindmaps to the repository.
  • You can add a link pointing to your mindmap on some target page, if any. Using the mindmap page template, if you have to create an HTML page under the ICIQ website source code master branch. A thumb snapshot should be given, if you want to link your mindmap on the observe.html page. In case the name of the repository may be changed, you suggest you also put a copy of your mindmaps in the mindmaps folder along with the website pages.

By pushing to your mindmap repository using Git, you can update your mindmaps from your local computer as time processes.

You can choose to announce your changes of mindmaps through the ICIQ Google+ Community.
