Flatiron Clusters

Installation on Flatiron Institute's Popeye and Rusty clusters.

Note: As of April 2025, the Dedalus main branch requires numpy > 2.0, requiring the use of the (currently alpha-stage) modules/2.4. This is available on Rusty but not Popeye yet.

Following the system staff's recommendations, we suggest installing Dedalus in a Python virtual environment using the system-installed Python, MPI, and HDF5.
