According to documentation: If NULL defaults to /run/modprobe.d, /etc/modprobe.d and /lib/modprobe.d. Give an empty vector if configuration should not be read.
Cannot return -1 because it's treated as true.
kmod_module_new_from_lookup returns number of modules, instead of 0 when successful.
