Many UNIX distributions end up using GNU bash, ksh, toybox, or zsh. Can uutils please provide a memory safe, POSIX compliant sh implementation?

Brush looks like a good idea for that, no clue if Uutils has any plans for their own, though.

You might be interested into posixutils-rs project. No idea how complete it is, though.

It’s on its way. Iglunix is going to be making use of it. I probably will, too.
