GSoc 2025 : Project proposal and suggested changes, and Guidance

My name is Bhaskar Pandey ,currently pursuing bachelor's degree from Indian Institute Of Technology , Varanasi , and I am reaching out to express my keen interest in contributing to the ICU4C project. I am particularly passionate about Natural Language Processing (NLP), and I believe that my technical skills make me a strong fit for this endeavor.

With a solid background in C/C++, Python,Java,JavaScript, and CMake, I am eager to apply my expertise to enhance ICU4C’s grammatical accuracy, particularly by integrating Unicode Inflection into Message Format 2.This is a great way to contribute to making internationalization more efficient and robust.

In the past, I have worked on a beginner-level project involving Masked Language Models (MLM), which allowed me to gain hands-on experience in implementing NLP techniques. I am excited to bring this experience to the ICU4C project and collaborate with the team to achieve its objectives.

I would appreciate it if you could provide more specific details about this project:

1. In which repo we have to specifically make changes to achieve the desired objectives(to integrate unicode inflection) ?
2. What things more I should learn to be able to better understand this project?

I also viewed the UTW videos mentioned in the ideas list about this project and gained some knowledge about the framework ,
also viewed the ICU repo of unicode and if I am not wrong this is the repo in which we have to do the required changes , some examples of the changes i have included in my proposal, I kindly request you to review it and suggest me some updates.
