Custom variant not working on custom utilities?

See this setup:

In our user project, they're importing our styles, everything works.

But when we define stuff like skb:btn it for some reason doesn't work and none of the custom utility styles are applied.
It's quite a complicated situation, if I need to clear anything up let me know.

It seems like the index.css in the user project is missing @import "tailwindcss"; (or @import "tailwindcss/utilities.css" layer(utilities); or @tailwind utilities;, etc.). This would be needed to output the generated CSS from Tailwind.

Sorry I've made a mistake in the diagram, the user thas @import "tailwindcss"; at the top of their index.css file.

Consider checking:

• Any other CSS that could be overriding the CSS from the skb:btn class name.
• Whether the browser is requesting the most up-to-date version of the CSS file(s) (if applicable).
• The libraries are correctly configured such that their CSS @imports do @import the source index.css files.

Otherwise, consider providing a git repo that reproduces the issue and we can take a look for you.

Yeah I'll try to setup a minimal monorepo (since the actual problem is happening inside our monorepo) to see if it happens there aswell.

@wongjn Ended up being a fault on my side after creating the reproduction. Sorry for wasting your time!
