Will items that were "Archived" in Google Photos retain that status?

Just wondering, when doing an import from Google Takeout zip files, when they are being imported into Immich, will items that were in your "Archive" in Google Photos be placed into the "Archive" in Immich?

My import is currently going, but so far the items I had archived in Google Photos are showing up in the "Photos" section of Immich.

My import do not have this status by Album with this name nor the Archive itself in Immich is populated. So in my case it's not 1:1.

How it ended for you?

Strange, as by From-google-photos sub command start first import with -a -p -t -u in the command. So that is the mistake?

Have no longer Google Photos active so can't compare.

But my Archived folder (in takeout, out of Immich) is full of files.

Subsequent re-imports with no flags or -t=TRUE -u=TRUE, or -a or -a=TRUE changed nothing.

I'm doing it from 2x .zip

Archived photos should have the field archived=true in their matching JSON files. The name of the folder isn't regarded.

I have checked the code for uploading photos, and the archived status is not used.

The immich's API to upload archived assets has changed in version 1.132

Just checked the files comparing the Archived vs file in AlbumXZX and assigned .json (all have the status true for archived).

Just re-imported several times entire takeout .zip.

Now looking at the new release with the --concurrent-uploads so happy to see the next one will be faster.

Will wait for how it will be resolved with Immich API.
