Variables not populating in the variables pane

The Variables pane in Positron’s R session remains empty even though R code executes successfully in the console. Basic assignments (e.g., x <- 1) and data frame creation run fine, but the Variables view continues to show no variables. I did a clean install of Positron on my personal computer, not sure if there was something I needed to do.

I'm not able to reproduce this so far:

Are you using Positron and R in just a plain vanilla mode? Or with WSL (I notice something about that in your video)? Do you observe the same problem for Python, or just R? How did you install R?
