Correct repo and distinction of applications

Hi All,

Is this the correct repo for new samples on Power Automate or do I need to use: https://github.com/pnp/powerautomate-samples.

On that repo it states: "We are currently in the process to move all the samples from product-specific repositories like this repository to one repository for all Power Platform Samples. Please create Pull Requests (PRs) in that repository"

But I cant seem to see a difference in application within this repo() in the samples. What are the guidelines to distinct the different applications?

@DAGiessenburg - Please submit in this repo. The Power Automate samples one is the old (legacy) repository - which will be archived in some point. In the past, people could share their Power Automate flows in there, but when the product team invested more in solutions, we decided to move to a central repository where people could share their solutions. 😊

To avoid confusion, we'll work on migrating the old repository. It is all done in the free time of the contributors/maintainers, so it can take a while. Hopefully, that makes sense.

@Laskewitz thanks that clears up some things.

Other question I had, how do we difference the applications, I see only a sample map. and then alot of committed sample maps. I can't see from those what is for what application, like apps, automate, or pages. Will there be a subfolder on the samples or do I need to add a "tag" in the folder name or how is the guide line for that?

@DAGiessenburg - we use the sample.json files for it in the assets folder for every sample. When you submit your PR, the maintainers will add that file for you. An example of that file can be found here. But as I said - you don't have to add the file yourself, the maintainers who will handle your pull request will add the file.
