At roche we are currently using Gitlab enterprise for internal work, and github.com for external facing open source work. Probably the most commonly used tools for managing git by teams are RStudio and VSCode. I think VSCode is a lot more powerful than RStudio when it comes to available functionality on this front |

We use TortoiseGit for the Windows environment, and Git is used for R development through RStudio. |
