What tools do you use to manage Git?

This could be a tool for your git repositories (github/lab/bitbucket, any others) or productivity tools (git kraken, desktop, tortoise)

At roche we are currently using Gitlab enterprise for internal work, and github.com for external facing open source work.

Probably the most commonly used tools for managing git by teams are RStudio and VSCode. I think VSCode is a lot more powerful than RStudio when it comes to available functionality on this front

I do agree on VSCode. Still i'm not sure it's used a lot in the industry (and if we talk about R, the setup can be tricky). But it can definitively be a great tool to manage Git as it allows the usage of several languages too.

We use git though RStudio (when R is used). I also use GitHub Desktop.

We use TortoiseGit for the Windows environment, and Git is used for R development through RStudio.
