set client config path

mcpm appears to use a different path than my Cline client:
~/.config/Code/User/globalStorage/saoudrizwan.claude-dev/settings/cline_mcp_settings.json

when the actual path is:
~/.theia-ide/globalStorage/saoudrizwan.claude-dev/settings/cline_mcp_settings.json

How can I tell mcpm the config file path for a client?

thanks for the feedback!
mcpm doesn't support cline as client yet, but we can add the support easily. we will be launching v2 very soon (days) which will be a major upgrade. we can add the cline support along with v2.

Cline is listed as a client but the issue is that it uses the VS Code path and my editor is Theia ( v1.14.2):
