Optional footer?

Hi, is it possible to add a config value to remove the "© 2024 Powered by Hugo :: Theme made by panr" from the bottom of the page? I prefer to keep my site quite minimal, I'm not really a fan of the footer.

Without adding it to the theme itself, it is possible to do this by modifying the /layouts/partials/footer.html file and placing the modified version into /layouts/partials/ in your site. You can remove that if you know your way around HTML. That said, I believe the LICENSE of the theme requires attribution so I'm not sure this is a good idea.

In #523 I had tried to make the override easier by making a partial of the main content of footer.

The license is for the code, not the website content itself. Regardless, it would be pretty unethical to not credit the original creator.

The attribution along with all source code can be linked in an about page. I do the same in https://bodha.siddh.me/
