It might be nice to be able to set what the foreground and background colors are.
Nothing wrong with the standard display nor the inverted version.
I'd rate it an "A" in a world obsessed with low contrast design.
I'm a pretty big theme guy, just a thought.
My color theme will be drifting towards Fall shortly in Emacs. :D
