ImGui_ShowDemoWindow works but trying to use my own window break everything

I'm using the c bindings via Zig.
I have an issue where ImGui_ShowDemoWindow works completely fine but trying to show my own window I get the following issues:

• the custom window is completely unresponsive to mouse hovers and mouse clicks
• if ImGui_ShowDemoWindow is called as well its window management features (draging window arround, resizing window...) become unresponsive but the buttons on it work.

found the issue: I had test code for imgui left over somwhere that messed thing up
