As of MODX Revolution 3.1.2, the search function works as described in this idea. Results that match the title of the resource appear first, followed by results that match the content. |

I would like to suggest a change to how the search results are presented which I think would be an improvement.
When using the search function, the results seem to appear in no particular order and, from what I can tell, there is a display limit. So if you are searching for a word that can be on various places, sometimes you don't get to see the result you are looking for and the resources with a match on the title of the resource are mixed with the results with a match on the content.
I think results with a match on the resource title should appear first as it is more likely that the intention of the user is to search by title than to search in the content, making the navigation quicker.
If that were too complex to implement, maybe having more results as you scroll down would alleviate the problem. I might be wrong about the search result display limit.
Thank you.
