Is this hitting the registry API every time someone visits the website?

We ask that consumers please not do this, and instead maintain a mirror of the registry data. We don't want the centralized registry to be on the hook for serving millions of end-users (just hundreds of subregistries). Hopefully the community can help us out with this requirement and we don't have to do something like implement auth and controls to prevent it.
