New demo added – need help with implementation

I've recently uploaded a new sample/demo that builds on top of the existing work in this repo. While working through the implementation, I ran into a few issues that I haven't been able to resolve on my own.

The core idea of the demo is in place, but there are some parts where I’m unsure how to proceed or could use a second pair of eyes.

Rather than duplicating everything here, I’ve outlined the details, the steps I took, and where exactly I’m stuck in an issue on my fork. You can find that discussion here: Issue #4 on my fork.
