Neither in the lesson content nor in Python notebook, is it mentioned that the model needs to be predeployed before creating agent with that model.

Failing to do so, will result an error 👇

And contrary to what it says at the bottom, on certain runs the agents are not deleted if there is an error. So, if you are not diligent in checking the Azure AI foundry portal, you may have a "dangling" agent in your AI project.
