Is there a way to make bash-git-prompt skipping one or more repos?

I'm using bash-git-prompt on Ubuntu LTS with great benefit and satisfaction.

Now I cloned a repository that is very very very huge. Every time I `cd` into that repository many minutes passes before obtaining the prompt.

The question is: is that any way for having bash-git-prompt logic not applied to that directory, while keep working as usual on the others?
