  • Bumps Gradle wrapper from 6.5 to 8.7.
  • Upgrades Android Gradle Plugin from 4.1.0 to 8.5.0.
  • Sets compileSdk to 35 and minSdkVersion to 25.
  • Replaces jcenter() with mavenCentral().
  • Adds Java 1.8 compatibility options.
