How to collapse portion of diff trees?

I frequently end up in situations w/ large amounts of diffs across many monorepo packages. I'd like to be able to collapse and expand the diffs of individual packages, so that getting from packageA's diffs to packageC's diffs doesn't require downing through all of packageB's diffs.

As far as I can tell, the collapse / expand option is only for all files (see below image), but it feels likely that I'm just missing a keypress for the more localized collapse I'm looking for.

A few lines above it says <enter> Stage lines / Collapse directory. The enter key is overloaded here, for files it enters the file for staging, for directories it collapses/expands it.
