Bug Description

I have a dataset with mutiple text entries. German umlauts (Ä, Ö, Ü) are not displayed results tables as well as in the data view. Instead, the umlauts are replaced by a single period (.).
In the underlying .csv file, the umlauts are present (Österreich in the example below).

Expected Behaviour

Umlauts should be displayed correctly.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create dataet with text data with umlauts
  2. View data
  3. Create analysis (e.g., frequency table)

Hi @maximusmontis , this kind of problem comes mostly from the encoding of your data file. What kind of data file do you use: csv, excel, spss? Would it be possible to save this datafile with 'UTF-8' setting (in Excel for example, you have this option)..
