not an issue per se, just a suggestion to review and probably incorporate patches from https://github.com/w8jcik/intel-vaapi-driver (initially extracted from https://bitbucket.org/alium/g45-h264/downloads/).

your fork is already almost the go-to solution to acceleration problems and i think it would be great to evolve it into the main (the only) alternative to abandoned intel's, so probably such additions could be a win-win for many users :)

ps: thanks again for fixing Chromium acceleration!
pps: @w8jcik what would you say about focusing on this fork instead of keeping yours?

Hello, feel free to incorporate my branches.

Be warned that my repository was just an experiment. I extracted alium/g45-h264 with care and I believe that it contains the same modifications, but my hardware (Dell XT2) didn't benefit from the solution (some people say it depends on BIOS). That means that I am not 100% sure if it works.

In case you successfully migrate my branches to this repository I will place a link on top of the README.md recommending your solution.
