"iqtree2" is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Bin. #427

Mac has some strict security that doesn't allow to run a binary not from their Apple Store. There is some security setting in Mac, that you need to manually allow to run the binary. 
And click on "Open Anyway". |

Yes, the macOS-ARM binary in iqtree-2.4.0-macOS-arm.zip is indeed broken. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
Attached are the updated binaries for both the macOS-ARM and macOS-Universal versions. These files have been tested on two different ARM MacBooks, and the new universal version has also been verified on an Intel MacBook.
