Tunneling models , or lack thereof

@ipspace Do you have a data model for tunnels buried somewhere ? At least popular ones as (M)GRE or Geneve, whatever ? Tunnels require lots of typing in supplementary configs.

Not yet. The idea was to create tunnel interfaces to deal with the stuff we can deal with (addressing, IGP), but then leave it to custom configs to configure the underlay.

You see any roadblocks in netlab at the current time to make this happen ? Full underlay/overlay configs ? This is not a question about whatever netlab needs this, that is for another time, it's more about what is easily feasible technically.

The only problem I see is that every platform does it differently (unless we go for something really basic like GRE)
