Back Up a Seed From a .stronghold file #8712

At first, I tried to save IOTA to Ledger Nano, but it was not supported, so I created a wallet from Firefly, which was introduced, and moved IOTA from Binance to the wallet. All I set was a PIN code and account name. I thought the security was weak, but I just wanted to move it to a wallet, so I left it there. I was able to view it when I opened it the other day, but after the update it no longer opened, so I tried this setting. |

Somehow I found "wallet.stronghold" on my PC and dragged and dropped it. Next I was asked for a password, but when I first set it up I only set a PIN code and account name, so I didn't set a password. When I first created the wallet, the screen to create a password didn't appear. It was just the PIN code. If I haven't set a password, what should I enter here? |

Thank you for your answer. As I mentioned at the beginning, when I set it
up, I only set the PIN and account name. Three years ago, I was only able
to set that in the Firefly wallet specified by Ledger Nano. I was very
worried about security, wondering if the PIN and account name alone were
enough, but I didn't know where to set it. I thought that if I updated it,
I would be able to do that, but after updating it, it wouldn't open. I
couldn't find out where to set the mnemonic or password, so I just used it
as it was. I was also able to move IOTA from Binance. Of course, I didn't
set the mnemonic either. So I chose this method, and since I didn't have a
password, I didn't know how to proceed, so I asked a question.

… When you set up your account there was a mandatory password step which
takes care of encrypting the file. The pin is a different thing, the
password is what is used for stronghold itself.
In any case, you should also have your 24 word mnemonic too, so you can
just use that to import it to the new wallet, using mnemonic (or ledger) is
the recommended way

1 If don't know where your .stronghold file is, click on the ... menu and select the Copy system profile location.
2 Next, you should click on the burger menu in the top left and Firefly > Backup Seed.
3 Once you have the .stronghold file at hand, you can drag and drop it into Firefly's Stronghold Backup.
When dragging and dropping the item copied in "Copy system profile location" in 2 to 3, how can I turn the copied item into a file and drop it? If it's just a copy, I can't drop it.
