The strict ruleset is kinda your territory, @paulo-ferraz-oliveira … but I (for one) would never use this rule. I very much prefer not something:something(Something) more than not (something:something(Something)). In the same way I wish for one day being able to write <<something:something(Something)/binary>> instead of <<(something:something(Something))/binary>> :)

That's fair, but a rule is a rule, right? It's configurable and can always be disabled (even from strict). What we're doing is helping developers not have to write code that can be there by default, over and over... For now it's not relevant, in any case. I'm giving it up because I don't like the way it's colored in my editor when using parens 😄
