Overflowing main screen tabs

Currently when no screen estate is left for the top menu bar's items it overflows outside of the window's boundaries, particularly troublesome when relying on addons (both 3rd and 1st party) that present their own main screen yet only having limited screen space.

Some suggestions to address this limitation

• (Unless disabled by the user) collapsing to only display icons with tooltips to show their respective label
• Hamburger menu displaying a dropdown of main screen tabs that would have otherwise overflowed out of the window
• Contain the main screen tabs in a scrollable flexbox container, opting for buttons instead of a scrollbar but still navigable with hardware scrolling interfaces (scroll wheel, trackpad, touch screens, etc.)

Maybe the center toolbar could be turned into a FlowContainer, so that it wraps across two rows if it's too wide for one?
